Food For Thought

I love to eat.

So I decided to show some of the things I’ve been snacking on.
For starters…

These things.

I mean…TWO cream centers? Yes, please. Great idea, Nabisco!

And then I made the mistake of walking into Godiva when we were at the mall. The perky saleslady kept yakking about chocolate and then directed me to the new dessert truffles.

I couldn’t resist the Red Velvet ones. I only have so much willpower!

I’m sure there are like 200 per chocolate but oh well. They are amazing.

Ever made Puppy Chow? I guess they’re also referred to as Muddy Buddies:

These are yummy. The homemade version is still better but this is a good substitute if you don’t feel like making it.

Look!

Something semi-healthy. These really aren’t bad. But the tiny square isn’t enough for me.

And...I decided to get some yogurt.

I go through phases where I LOVE yogurt and then I’m like, “I don’t want to ever see yogurt again.”

This yogurt isn’t too bad.

I’d still prefer ice cream though.

  3. I saw those Oreos in the store this week, and I bought yogurt instead! Now I keep thinking about those Oreos, maybe this post must be a sign that I should've bought them... If I walk to the store, it cancels out the calories right?

  4. Oh my gosh, red velvet truffles? YUM! I love those Nature Valley Granola Thins too - Jason puts them in the fridge and eats them cold.

  5. Maybe it's a southern thing, but what you refer to as puppy chow is actually "white trash" at our house. We love it for multiple reasons. ;)

  6. I'm the same way with yogurt! I'll crave it so I'll buy a bunch thinking "I'll eat yogurt everyday!" and... it sits in the fridge. :-)

  7. Now I really want something with chocolate ;-) I really want to try the Muddy Buddies. I do not know they made those. I love the homemade ones but it is always such a mess to make.

  10. Those Oreos withe pink middle? Barf-O-rama, girly. Do you even know how many disgusting, artificial additives R in them? Puh-leeze think summore. Thank you profusely --- Nevertheless, you're a writer? HooRayGun, sez Ronald Raygun! If you're a writer of the weird and kooky, I gotta whole lotta schtuff fer ya. You may copy (I refuse to say 'plagiarize' - that sounds so crass) anything offa our blogs, ANYTHING, if I can kiss your adorable, wonderfull feets Upstairs for the length of eternity. Deal?? Have at it, miss gorgeous. God bless you.

  11. I concur. Ice cream is always better. And I have never seen those oreos before. Now that I know they exist I have to keep my husband from buying them. He has a thing for weird oreos.

  12. This is so funny. Especially since the last post I read was Pioneer Woman saying she is giving up sugar for one month. It seems impossible, but she promises to report back on how she's doing and how she feels. (Supposedly you stop craving it after a while, and you feel better.) I gotta have a couple pieces of good chocolate every day.

  15. Oh wow, I am in junk food heaven now (although this does not all qualify as junk food, I realize.) I've never seen some of these before! But will be looking for them soon (or their gluten free equivalents, which should be coming out soon!)

  25. You have 3 of my most favorite things - in picture form - represented on this page...I LOVE MUDDY BUDDIES - it completes me! As for those squares - pop them in the freezer for a few hours and eat with milk, yum (the peanut butter ones aren't too bad either)! And Godiva...whats NOT to love about Godiva...exactly!
