My Dear Letters

Happy Friday!

I decided to do My Dear letters that I wish I could send. Have a fabulous weekend.

Dear JC Penney Commercials,

I get that the store is trying something new. But a commercial where everyone screams “nooooo” is not going to get me interested. It’s going to make me want to change the channel.

Signed,
An-I-hear-enough-screaming-at-home,
Amber

----------

Dear Janelle from Teen Mom 2,

Sweetie, drop Kieffer. He’s an ass and probably smells like feet. Plus, who wants to date someone with the name Kieffer? Spend more time with your kid so he doesn’t grow up resenting you. It is not your mother’s responsibility. Stop yelling at everyone, stop smoking weed, and get your act together.

Signed,
A-No-One-Feels-Sorry-For-You,
Amber

-------------
Dear SuperBowl,

I can't wait until you are over. I am tired of hearing about you and probably won't even watch. Not even for the commercials. I'll hear about them on Monday and The Today Show will highlight the best ones anyway.

Signed,
I'll-Just-Watch-DVRed-Stuff-Then,
Amber

----------

Dear Natalie,

Actually, it’s called GROUNDHOG day. Not Beaver day. But thank you for making me laugh.

Signed,
An-I-know-I’m-Immature,
Amber

--------------

Dear Mother On Toddlers and Tiaras who doesn’t understand why she’s being blasted for dressing her three-year-old like Julia Robert’s character in Pretty Woman,

Um. Because she was a HOOKER. You can try to explain it however you want but the bottom line is, poor choice.

Signed,
A-Next-Time-Dress-Your-Kid-Less-Tart-ish,
Amber

-----------------

Dear Tommy,

It’s a little strange that you want sideburns just because Spencer from iCarly had them. But okay. If that’s what you want. ???

Signed,
A-My-Kid-Goes-Through-Odd-Phases,
Amber

  1. Amen to the JCP commercial. UGH!! And oh my Lord ... Jenelle has some major issues, Kieffer being at the top of the list. I feel so sorry for her poor kid, and actually, her annoying mother too!

  2. I've already seen the Ferris Bueller superbowl commercial, that's the only one I care about. After that, I'll be staying far away from whatever channel the Super Bowl is on. And those JCP ads, they better leading up to like the best sale in the history of mankind is all I have to say.

  3. Gawd, I'll never look at Groundhog's Day ever the same anymore. Beaver. Beaver. Beaver.

Did you see the Dr Phil interview? I love how she was stuck on "I dressed her as a Julia Robert's CHARACTER!" Well, the character, dear delusional lady, was a HOOKER!!

I also have a dear letter:
    Dear MGM,
If I see that ad for the stupid movie with Drew Barrymore about the whales ONE MORE TIME, I will personally go kill all the whales in the ocean.

    Sincerely,
    It's-On-EVERY-COMMERCIAL-BREAK,
    Julia

  5. Can we nominate a different day to be Beaver day? Those cute little animals that chew down trees and make dams need support too. I know that will all of the nude clubs here it Vegas it will be very well supported.

  6. i.hate.the.jcp.commercial

so much so, I'm boycotting them. I won't even walk in the store anymore.

  7. The first time my husband saw the JCP commercial, he looked so confused. Then said. "Why are they screaming? I don't get it." Then I explained the commercial, and his response was, "Well, that's just stupid."

I love the Superbowl though. It's been my dad and I's thing since I was walking, maybe even before then. I used to bet my dad when I was little. I'd get a dollar if I was right or I'd have to wash dishes for a week if my team lost. I made lots of dollars!
I was the one who brought football into my house. I've got the whole family into it. I make my step-daughters and son shirts to support the team they pick to win. I'll be doing those today!

  10. All those girls from Teen Mom2 are a train wreck. I am sure some could do a good job, but starting a family when you are a teen is not the best idea. I am surprised their parnets were on board with them keeping the babies when they obviously knew how it would all go down.

  11. I hate those JC Penny commercials too. I tend to think most of the parents of Toddler and Tiaras demonstrate poor judgement most of the time.

  12. I have to agree about Janelle. She is a train wreck! Although I thought I read that she is in college again. Let's hope she stays in and cleans up her life.

  13. Im with ya on the Janelle rant....She is an idiot....period
    And Keiffer is pronounced
KEIFFEUW....as Janelles mom would say it....hehe

  14. Those T&T parents are, collectively, whack.
"Whack" in this case covering, delusional, fame-whoring, blinders-on, didn't get enough attention from Daddy growing up, kinda crazy.

  15. I absolutely can't stand the JC Penney commercial either. I tweeted about it. :)

  16. I totally agree about the JCP commercial. It's grating and does not help anyone understand or like the new pricing concept. Dumb. I'm going now to see whether there's an I-hate-the-JCP-ad page on Facebook.

  17. That last one made me laugh. And remember the time my (then) little guy asked me if he could get a hair cut like (insert football player's name here - because I can't remember it). I asked him to show me a picture and the guy had dredlocks. I had to explain to him that his thin, baby fine, very short blond hair probably wouldn't work in dreds. He was crushed.

  18. I think he'd look ADORABLE with sideburns... but I suspect he'd look adorable no matter what he did!

    ReplyDelete
  19. The fact that that freak Madonna is going to screech, I mean "sing", is enough to keep me away from the Super Bowl. That and my team isn't playing. And it will happen in the middle of the night. You know, totally not worth it!

I'll miss the commercials though. I miss ALL commercials!!!!! Seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  20. love it! I agree with each of them. Janelle drives me crazy, I can't watch Teen Mom 2 because of her. JC Penny's really needs to pull that commercial.

    Have a great weekend!

  21. I had to see it to believe it, so I googled Toddlers Tiaras Julia Roberts. OMG! My heart breaks for that wee girl.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Tehehehehe!

Go Pats! I will so be watching!

    ReplyDelete
  23. You are a riot! I love your "Dear" letters!

Happy Beaver Day takes on a whole new meaning! Ha ha!

  24. I tried to watch the T&T show but watching those poor kids starts to make me angry after awhile.

My wife made me watch the Pretty Woman episode and I almost wrote a letter to the TV station, lol.

As for the SB, the commercials are all coming out before hand now anyway and my team is terrible and never makes the playoffs so DVR it is!

  25. Kieffer - or as Jenelle's mom calls him, Kee-fuh - is trouble. That show frustrates me like no other (and yet I keep watching).

And I hope the advertising or marketing team who thought up that JC Penney's commercial has been fired. It's so bad!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Haha! Beaver Day! That would make me laugh too.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Amen on the Jenelle needs to drop Kieffer. I swear if I could come through the t.v. man...Also Chelsey needs to leave the loser Adam alone. He comes and goes..he doesn't care her or their child.

  28. The very first time that stupid JC Penney commercial came on TV, my dog Fred actually let out a howling like sound, he has never done that. Poor guy.
    glad it's over (I hope)

    ReplyDelete
  29. My 3 year old says of the JCP commercial that, "Dey need to calm down". I couldn't agree more. And I'm still not entirely sure what point they are trying to get across...
The T&T's Mom said she also had her kid dressed in the iconic brown polka dot dress later in the act, but guess what? Still. A. HOOKER. Hello!?!?
