Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-----------

To wonder how in Army Wives that Trevor went from enlisted to Officer. Did I miss an episode? Or is the Army like that?

To like the show Game of Thrones. Tom and I started watching it on Netflix and we really enjoy it. Granted, there are some scenes that make you go ! but still entertaining.

To hate the cranky bagger ladies at the commissary on base. (There are some nice ones but I tend to see a lot of the moody ones..)

To have found an Angry Bird toy with bunny ears buried under a bunch of t-shirts at Kohls the other day. And yes, bought it because an Angry Bird with bunny ears cracked me up.

To like the Baked Apple Pie scent from Scentsy. Makes the house smell delicious.

To wish I hadn’t told Natalie we were going to Disney World next June because every day she’s like, “Is Disney open yet?” (To quiet her I lied and said they shut the place down to clean it for our arrival..)

To still hate when cars come to a complete stop before turning. Stop it!

To like the new show Don't Trust the B- In Apt 23. James Van Der Beek plays himself so there are lots of Dawson references.

  1. I love Don't trust the B- in Apt 23! It is one of my new faves! Army wives is confusing to me too and I don't know a darn thing about the army! ha!

  4. Love the new look on your blog! (At first I thought Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 was so odd. Only started watching it because my friend's friend from acting class is in the show. She's the blonde roommate. I must say, I'm digging it now though. James Van Der Beek is probably the best part of the show!

  5. Glad you're still loving your Scentsy! Baked Apple Pie is one of my favorites :)

I didn't tell my girls about Disney until about a month before our trip for that exact reason. I knew they'd drive me up a wall. Good thinking on the closed for cleaning!

  6. Like the new blog look. I too love Game of Thrones... but you are right sometimes it gets a little overly naked.... and genius way to tell your little one Disney World was closed... now if only I could tell my girlfriend the same thing about that dance club she drags me to?

My cousin keeps telling me I need to watch the Game of Thrones, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
I was a bagger lady once, but I had to at least pretend I was happy :) haha!
That's too funny you told Natalie that Disney world shut down to clean! HAHA!

  8. Trevor was told at the end of last season that he should apply for OCS and poof! The beginning of next season he had been accepted and completed OCS. I don't think it happens that quickly in real life.

I love the idea of saying Disney was closed for cleaning. I will have to remember that when my daughter is older.

  10. Making stuff up to get your kid to drop it is going to be awesome! Sometimes I try it with the husband and sometimes it works but usually it doesn't.

Love the new look! I've been contemplating a new look for awhile but can't decide on anything.

  12. Commisary baggers are the worst!! the ones here in San Diego work for tips. Maybe if they were a little nicer their tips would be better. Just sayin'

  13. Disney closes for cleaning before EVERY family's trip there. Duh. (brilliant!)

And hey, I got a ticket for not making a complete stop before turning. Geez, don't the cops get that I'm trying to keep traffic moving?

  17. I really dislike the whole come to a complete stop before turning thing too...drives me insane. Good way to get hit too, they should consider that next time they want to stop in the middle of the road. I seriously make my turns on two wheels!
