Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

----------------------

To think it’s awesome that a blind woman won on MasterChef. I don’t watch the show but I heard about it. It’s pretty sad that a woman who can’t see can cook better than I do.

To find it hard not to shop the Baby Sale going on at Gymboree. Natalie can still fit in 5T items so we can still shop the sale. But I have to hold out until Gymbuck Redemption.

To be embarrassed that a show like Honey Boo Boo is so popular. Way to go, America.

To use non-organic shampoo. It seems to be the thing for people to use organic shampoo now. No thanks.

To think the Gangham Style craze is odd. I feel like I’ve been doing that dance for years. I’ve always danced like a crazy person to music.

To have been shocked over Dan’s move on Big Brother. I’m still hoping Ian wins because he reminds me of Tommy.

To be surprised that people have already decorated their houses for Halloween. I get the fall theme but Halloween? There are people with fake gravestones and ghosts in their yards already.

To have checked these books out at the library. The Lego book is for Tommy. One of his current obsessions is the history of Legos. He loves the book.

  1. My kids are all over Gangham Style! They will watch 2 different videos at the same time on the iPads.

I like that fact that I don't really need shampoo at the moment :)

  3. I am with you on the Honey Boo Boo thing. I haven't watched it but I have seen the ads for it. Couldn't they come up with something better?

  4. I don't get the whole Gangnam Style thing either ... however, if you get a chance youtube the US Naval Academy version. Laughed my butt off!

  5. That's really neat about the blind woman winning Master Chef!
I have no words for most of America and their ridiculousness. Or their poor choice in TV shows for that matter, haha.
I haven't heard of Gangham style? I might have to look it up.

  6. Never heard of Gangham before today. I find the music VERY annoying!!! But with the music off, the Naval Academy one is pretty funny.

Honey Boo Boo...rednecks on parade. Glad to be overseas and hopefully changing perceptions about Americans!!!

    Books rock, regardless!! READ ON!

  7. I had never heard of Gangham thing until a few days ago. I still have never heard the music.

My daughter and I started decorating for Halloween today. I needed something to entertain her, and I was curious how much stuff I lost during the move. It gives me an excuse to go shopping this weekend.

  8. Now that Shane's out, I hope Ian wins too. I wasn't surprised about Dan's move...I was surprised that Danielle was dumb enough to trust Dan AGAIN and then be shocked when he used her AGAIN. Her stupidness makes me sick.

Also, I've been watching the feeds...Danielle has to be crazy if she thinks she can get Shane to vote with her in the jury (she's telling Ian that she won't vote for him and she'll make sure Shane doesn't either). She thinks things are fine between her in Shane even though it was her stupidity that got him evicted. Ugh.

  9. I totally agree with the Halloween decorations! I'm a huge Halloween gal, but I do not put up decor until October 1st. September is just too early!

  11. The Gangham Style thing gets on my nerves, and then I saw a video of some Navy dudes doing it and it made me giggle...a lot.

I don't even my Fall stuff out. I actually have no idea where it is in my house...sad right?

  12. Gangnam Style cracks me up. My two friends who just got done living in Korea for the past 3-4 years said that the video make fun of and showcases the style and culture of the younger generation of Korea. I can't get that song out of my head now.

Let me know what you think of Look Me in the Eye! I loved it! I'm also a huge fan of his brother.

  13. "It’s pretty sad that a woman who can’t see can cook better than I do."

It makes sense. I have mates who are blind and they're extensively capable of doing what I do. In terms of the senses, since they're missing one - the others are more powerful. That could, possibly, make her a super taster or more aware of things like textures not by site but by touch.

  15. There's a baby sale going on at Old Navy, too. Having a VERY hard time not shopping for my little guy.
