Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-----------------

To wonder if the kids on Dance Moms have to pay for their costumes. It seems like they have new elaborate ones each week. I wonder if the show foots the bill?

To have watched End of Watch over the weekend and liked it. Sometimes those actiony films are too much for me but it wasn’t bad.

To think some people get way to into football.

To be trying to figure out what places we must eat at when we go to Disney. We just have the quick service plan so it’s all fast food. There are so many choices! I know one we’re going to do for sure is Be Our Guest.

To have filed our taxes. Now we wait. And then we pay off our Disney trip.

To be excited that my Target is remodeling. I guess they are adding fresh produce in the store too? And all the shelves have come down and switched places so that was odd at first.

To think it’s awesome that Tommy does productive things on his iPod Touch. He logs onto his reading and math programs from school and does a couple of questions. Without me even asking him to. He says he’s worried his brain will turn to mush.

To love these Red Velvet Pop Tarts:

  3. Tommy is bored in class and using his Touch to do 'real' work?
Did you eat all of the snacks planned during the Super Bowl?

  4. You should go to Cosmic Rays in Magic Kingdom. Great burgers. Have fun!

  6. You are really making me want to go back to Disney. It's been too long! It's awesome you can pay off you trip with your taxes. I hate tax time... we always have to pay in. Too bad we can't claim our dogs!

I'm planning our trip to Disney too... I didn't realize it would be so much work. I don't even know where we're going to stay!

  8. I have heard Be Our Guest is fabulous. There are so many great places to eat for quick service and table service. One of my favorites is Pecos Bills in Frontierland of Magic Kingdom. There are also some great quick service choices in the World Showcase side of Epcot. That's where my family goes when we can't agree on one kind of restaurant. This way, we can have whatever we are craving at the time.

  10. My best suggestion for the quick service places at Disney is to try and eat at 'off' times because they are all really packed during peak lunch and dinner hours and it can be hard to find tables and chairs.

Most of the food is pretty good if you stick to regular fast food type stuff, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, etc. Even the salads are decent and my husband has said the barbecue is good too (I'm not a barbecue fan, so I have no idea). The Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill Cafe suggestions are good, those are both at Magic Kingdom. Pizza Planet at Hollywood Studios is pretty good also.

  16. I was told the new Kelogg's Granola tastes like pop tarts, but never having had them before I think they taste more like Lucky Charms.

  17. Disney is fabulous :D We're local-ish (under an hour from our door to the Magic Kingdom's entrance gates) and I like to visit at least once a year. There's such good variety regardless of what type of restaurant you're choosing!

  18. You have to rent Fever Pitch if you haven't already. It is the epitome of sports crazy, but funny.

  19. I loved End of Watch!! My boyfriend didn't like it, I told him he was crazy. Of course I also have a girl-crush on Anna Kendrick...

Your son is so smart, I love all your stories about him!

  21. I don't think I understand the concept. You...felt bad about thinking this stuff? I think you're supposed to comfort yourself that "It's Ok" that you always have two loads of dirty laundry or that your kid watches too much TV. Yours are positively saintly!
