Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

--------------

To be upset that there are people who bought up the Oklahoma tornado benefit concert tickets and are re-selling them at a higher price. Read more about it here.

To still wonder if I should get the Photopass + they offer at Disney World. Do I really need it? We’re there for a week. The only two character meals we're doing is Cinderella's Royal Table and Backyard Mickey BBQ. As I understand it, CRT is the only one associated with the Photopass + anyway.

To hope Amanda Bynes gets the help she needs. And loses that frightening wig.

To wish that the whole room would break out into song with I Say A Little Prayer like in My Best Friend’s Wedding.

To miss being able to shop in peace. That’s gone until the kids are back in school. It’s not horrible but sometimes my daughter has to look at every.little.thing.

To be bummed that I keep hearing The Hangover 3 wasn’t very funny.

To have a giveaway for a three coupon pack for Luvs diapers here.

To let my daughter jump in random puddles:

  3. I like your new "hey it's okay" post you have here. I might try the same (and of course link back to you). Haven't even seen the 1st Hangover but I've heard the first 2 were very funny. I have Bridesmaids on DVD (actual DVD - not someone downloading it and burning it to dvd - illegal I know). I have yet to sit and watch it though. I started to but with 2 kids running around, I was kind of afraid of what would be in the movie that they would ask "what are they doing?". It's ok to be upset of ticket scalpers but it's also ok to be "not surprised". You didn't see that coming? People are awful. I miss the old sweet Amanda Bynes. I think the real one was kidnapped by aliens

  4. I LOVE the puddle jumping pic! My three year old recently spent an afternoon puddle jumping with some friends, and it dawned on me how ironic that it was her first time doing that! We live in Washington state, where puddles abound! I guess when you live in one big puddle, jumping loses a little of its luster. lol

  5. Phenomenal photo of your daughter. I often wish we all broke into song and dance like a musical. Such a release! I feel like violence rates and therapy bills would all go down.
I remember watching Amanda Bynes on Nickelodeon 15 years ago or so. She had such a natural talent -you couldn't look away. I imagine she still does, hidden under the pain.

  8. Seriously so so annoying that people are doing that with the tickets!!

I hadn't heard about Amanda Bynes, I will have to go google.

I have always wanted a room to burst out in that song!! That would be so fun

  9. Love this idea. I may join in at some point! Stopping by from SITS!

  10. I hope there is a special place in hell for the people buying up the tickets. I've heard there is another benefit concert being planned by Toby Keith, along with Ronnie Dunn and Garth Brooks. Maybe they can avoid those people.

  11. This idea is brilliant and I think I'm going to do it! I will link up, of course. That is, until you die of embarrassment because my blog is totally random and you don't want to be associated with my craziness.

Come to think of it, I suspect you should delete this comment just to start it off right. You're reputable and you don't want my commenting on your blog to make you lose credibility.

    I make people lose credibility.

It's okay to delete. O-M-G! That's going to be my first "It's okay!" :-)

  12. I openly encourage random group singalongs at all times. I'm not having a lot of success, but I'll keep going.

  14. I always hope for a singalong like that. It hasn't happened yet...but I'm still holding out hope that it'll happen.
I love that picture of your daughter. So fun and joyful!

  16. My son (he's 20) saw Hangover III and LOVED it. Said it's a lot better than II (which we also loved).
Jumping in puddles is an important part of childhood. Practically required.
