Hey It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

--------------------------

To have liked the movie Captain Phillips. I recommend it.

To need a lot of fire sauce packets when I get Taco Bell. Tom ordered food from there and came back with two. TWO! I usually put like 4 on my bean burrito.

To have been jealous when Tom upgraded to the iPhone 5C but then people told me it was basically the same as my iPhone 5. It just seemed sleeker than mine. Tom is happy to be done with his Droid.

To not be pleased when people pass out toothbrushes on Halloween. It's a holiday people!

To still be waiting on the Geek Squad to fix my PC. I miss it. I checked online and the earliest it will be done is the 31st. Grr.

To have brought in pumpkin swirl bread since it's apparently pumpkin week in my daughter's class. It is not homemade. It's from Pepperidge Farms. But it's good bread!

To be seeing the new Carrie movie with Tom while the kids are in school. I liked the original. I read the book too. It's why you should be nice to everyone. Otherwise you could find yourself trapped in a gym while a fire rages.

To have two giveaways going on right now. You can win a Halloween DVD here or an awesome Budsie here.

To have eaten lunch with Natalie again. This time Tom was able to come. Natalie was very excited and kept kissing his arm.

  1. Aw! That's so sweet with the arm kissing at lunch. Her adorable little smile says it all. :) (And it's TOTALLY okay to bring delicious Pepperidge Farm bread. YUM!!) --Lisa

  2. Toothbrushes?! I mean, come on people! I get that not everyone is happy with their kids getting loads of candy, but toothbrushes?!?!
Going for lunch with Natalie is so cute. I kinda wish my Mum could come and have lunch with me at work. I'd make her a sandwich and everything.

  6. I'll have to go back and read Carrie again. I believe it's one of the very few Stephen King books that doesn't tie back into the Dark Tower series. But I read that before those, so I'll have to reread. Great story though!

  7. Why is it taking so long for your computer to get fixed?!?!?!? Halloween is for candy...that's the only thing that should be given out. When I was a kid, there was some guy who used to give out tennis balls...I'm pretty sure they were used...

  8. Kids don't care if stuff is homemade - they just want it to taste good!
And - I'm not gonna lie, I was happy when the boys got older and didn't want us to come eat with them. I liked seeing them but the school cafeteria is not my thing ever!!!

  14. Ugh! What's up with these people handing out toothbrushes! Don't they remember what it was like to be a kid. Shame, their own poor kids probably get like 1 sweet a month!
Aah sounds like Natalie is supper happy to have Tom back at home.

  16. I really want to see the new Carrie movie! I'm not sure anyone in my house will actually go with me. I might have to be sneaky...like suggesting to the 14 year old he should take his girlfriend to a scary movie...ya know...she might hold his hand and stuff. Then I won't have to go alone. Hey! It's okay to be sneaky to get what you want. :D
