Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. To love sour gummy bears. I eat so many of them.


To have liked the book Tempting Fate by Jane Green. I'm actually starting to keep track of the books I read on Goodreads. If you want to add me as a friend, you can here.


To have binge watched the latest season of Girls while the kids were at school. I was all, "Hey, is that Gaby Hoffman as Adam's crazy sister?" (Yes!) I remember her in Uncle Buck, Sleepless in Seattle, Now & Then...

To be bummed that Mickey Rooney died. He was awesome.


To try not to laugh when Natalie goes, "Duh," at the end of what she tells me. For instance, I ask her what she's doing on Minecraft and she's like, "Building a house, duh." Another time I asked where she put Olaf. "He's hanging out in the closet, duh." I explain that it's not polite, but it's just so dang funny sounding.


To be excited when a company acknowledges me on Twitter. Panera Bread has multiple times since I gush about the food. Same as Gymboree. I'm working to get Target to realize I exist. I mean, I'm in the store enough...


To have dressed up with Natalie for the Medieval Fair last weekend. I tried to get my husband and son to dress up as well, but they passed. (Actually, Tom said, "No way," and Tommy just stared at me.) More photos from it are on my Instagram account.

    We loved the Ren Faire in the fall! Out here you can't go to one in April. Oh, how I wish!
    And Gaby Hoffman was in an episode or two of "Louie". (the comedian Louis C.K.)

    I was so sad when Mickey Rooney died. He was an icon. You girls look wonderful all dressed up for the fair! Hope you had a wonderful time

    There shouldn't have to be an excuse to like Tempting Fate. It is a fabulous book and many people agree. It's not like one of those bad books that you hate to enjoy. LOL!

    I love that you dressed up! You both look amazing. It looked like a lot of fun.

    Sour gummy bears are the BEST! They have a medieval fair around here every year and I've always wanted to go... I made going this summer one of my 30 before 30 thangs.

    I'll have to do this sometime! Right now my team is involved with the A to Z Blogging challenge. Urgh--I could grind their bones to make my bread! It always starts out fun but gets tiresome after the first week. :/
