Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------------

--To have to wait to watch Big Brother. My DVR is hopefully recording it. I'll be home on Monday.

--To be looking forward to seeing Tom. He finishes his military class this week.

--To have gone to Trader Joe's for the first time yesterday. I'll write more about that soon.

--To be going to a small fair type thing for 4th of July.

--To have finished reading All Fall Down by Jennifer Weiner. It was a good book!

--To need to watch Girl Meets World. It premiered last week. I'm hoping it repeats over and over so I can catch it when I return home. I liked Boy Meets World.

--To love finding books on clearance at Barnes and Noble. I picked up a copy of Silver Linings Playbook for $5. I've been wanting to read the book since I saw the movie.

--To have had fun at the beach, despite all the seaweed!

  1. Girl Meets World has been on about 1000 times since Friday. I totally watched it on Friday, too, and DVR'd it. You know, so my daughter can see it, too.

All Fall Down is on my summer reading list. I hope the library cooperates and gets it to me soon. I've been waiting for it!

  5. I don't think you'll have a problem finding Girl Meets World. Disney likes to repeat episodes.... A lot. I used to watch Boy Meets World, back in the day, LOL.

I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the beach!

  9. So glad you'll get to see Tom soon.
And really happy you got to go to Trader Joe's! It's a bit of an obsession for people, and I always am happy to live near one.
    I go regularly.

  10. Yuck at seaweed. It's especially yuck when you're in the ocean and it sneaks up behind you. Yay for Tom! LOL at trader joes. I gotta hear the breakdown of how that went.

  12. What a great idea, to take the time to list the positives.
I have to tell you, I'd take any beach, any time, anywhere and love every minute of it, seaweed or not.

  16. I love Trader Joes. Where did you go to the beach at? We just got back from Galveston, Texas and they said it was the worst year for seaweed in years.

  20. Don't feel bad. I've never been to a Trader Joe's.

And I don't feel bad about it. =)

And hey, it's ok I haven't blogged or caught up on any blogs in almost 2 weeks until today.

Well, it's not "really" ok...but I'm gonna tell myself it is.

    =)

  21. My mantra today is "it's okay to be going out in to the woods for 2 weeks and have lovely family time.....and no Wifi." At all. none.

  23. I'm curious what you will think of Silver Linings Playbook after watching the movie first. I read the book first and LOVED it, and hated the movie. They are not the same :(

  24. We don't have a DVR (or cable for that matter) so not watching Big Brother when it comes on is a big no in my house. My husband would have a heart attack if he missed it!

  25. I picked up a Mary Higgins Clark book yesterday for $1. I couldn't remember if I had already read it, so I figured with a $1 I could read it (again)!

  27. I just added "All Fall Down" to my reading list--seems a lot of people have been raving about it lately :)

Did you love your Trader Joe's experience? Obsessed with that place (and will actually go food shopping there later today!).

XOXO and happy (belated!) 4th :)
