Things That Annoy Me Thursday: Camo Gear Everywhere

When you're a military spouse, this is never a good thing.

Camo gear. All over the living room floor.

My heart always squeezes when I see it, because it means he's leaving. Again.

And then.

Then when he packs the helmet with his BLOOD TYPE on it, you worry.

"It's a good thing," Tom assures me, because I always pale when I see it. "If something happens, they can help quickly."

Sometimes I think, "Why can't he have a job where he doesn't need to have his blood type written everywhere?"

But Tom wouldn't be happy in a job where nothing happens.

I always hope he'll be okay. He has to be.

I always hope time passes quickly so then he's home again.

Camo gear. All over the living room floor.

I hate the sight of it.

  7. {{{hugs}}} Camo gear all over my living room just means my husband is going hunting and he'll be grumpy for a week if he doesn't get anything! I hope this deployment goes by quickly for you guys!

  21. Ugh. I'm sorry. The military really doesn't waste anytime getting the boys out do they? I feel like he just got notice and now he's gone. That is awful, I'm so sorry.
