Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To have been very excited when Desmond showed up on Scandal. Well. I think his character's name is Steven on THAT show, but he'll always be Desmond to me.

--To be grateful that Give Parents A Break is on Saturday. I get to drop Natalie off at the youth center for 5 hours. Tommy and I are going on a date.

--To have showed Natalie the original Annie. "You'll never look at train tracks the same after this," I warned her.

--To be in disbelief that Tommy will be THIRTEEN on Monday. He says he's been waiting YEARS to get a Facebook account. He's still miffed that there are kids UNDER thirteen on Facebook. (The Facebook rules state you have to be thirteen to have an account.) "Why are they lying?" It's a common rant in this house from him.

--To have only watched a little of the Oscars. Then I got bored. Aren't those people awarded something like every WEEK!? It's ridiculous.

--To have switched off the Oscars as soon as Adam Levine started singing. I can't take his girl voice. Sorry. I know a lot of people love him.

--To be seeing The Duff today if the weather cooperates. It looks hilarious. Plus Amber from Parenthood is in it.

--To have gone to a Victorian Tea over the weekend. You'll be pleased to know that I did NOT get the giggles. I usually get the giggles at the worst possible moments.

  4. I planned on watching the Oscars, then I completely forgot until it was too late. Eh, I am sure I will find plenty of blog posts about it. I really want to go see The Duff! It looks hilarious! A Victorian tea sounds kind of fun...

  7. Victorian tea, how fun! The DUFF looks funny, though I heard it is not like the book. I can't watch award shows, they bore me to tears!

  8. Train tracks? I thought she was climbing a bridge. Unless we're thinking of different things?
Happy birthday to Tommy! His birthday is close to my daughter's. :) Pisces kids are cool! (My younger son is a Pisces too.) Have fun on your date.
I love "Lost Stars" and thought that Adam Levine sang it really well in the movie.

  9. I love the early Maroon 5 songs. The newer ones are an assault on my ears.

  10. Love it all and adding my own! It's OKAY that I skipped out on all the chores I should have been doing today and treated myself to a mani pedi instead :0

  11. Fun that you and Tommy will be able to go on a date Saturday!!
We didn't watch any of the Oscars - I did google Lady Gaga's tribute to Julie Andrews yesterday and that was pretty awesome.

  12. Thank God I'm not alone in my hatred of Adam Levine. You just scored points in my book. And of course the Oscars became a liberal political rally this year again....which made me nauseous and immediately flip it off. When will those people stick to acting and quit giving their political opinions.

  13. Aww the tea looks so fun! I can't wait to do that someday with my little girl!! Glad I'm not alone in my Adam Levine aversion. Love to look at him, hate his voice!

  15. I've always wanted to go to a tea. I was suppose to take a girl scout troop to one, but they canceled it the day of.

  16. Love high tea! The best kind of giggling, btw, is the inappropriate giggling. ;D

  17. HAHA! Me too. I get the giggles when I shouldn't.

And hubba hubba DESMOND. Hey, it's OK Tuesday - I named my son after a character from LOST. (that's my version of the prompt)

I don't like Adam Levine's voice. At all.

I need to know how The Duff is. There is nothing fat or ugly about her.
