Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To not want the Apple Watch. I have a FitBit. That's enough for me, thanks.

--To be bummed that my library is closed until the 26th. They're getting new carpet put in. I checked out a bunch of books. I hope I don't finish them all before the library is open again.

--To have watched Seeds Of Yesterday on Lifetime Sunday. It was...well, a Lifetime movie. But I loved the book series, so I felt like I had to watch.

--To not understand the craze of dying your hair gray. I don't even have to do it. My hair is already gray.

--To have a giveaway for a Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 prize pack here.

--To be happy Game Of Thrones is back. I told Tom he needs to find some way to download it over there because I'm not waiting. I waited on The Walking Dead, The Americans, The Blacklist, and Modern Family. I have my limits!

--To know I'm a baby when it comes to rides. This was me on the Seven Dwarves Mine Train at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World.

I don't like any kind of DROP. (Tommy must not be a fan either..meanwhile, my mother and Natalie are all, "Weeee!") (It is a fun ride. I'd do it again. But I'd probably be screaming like this still.)

  1. The library being closed would cause me serious anxiety! Are you rationing pages?! Why can't they do it in sections so they whole place doesn't have to shut down?

And I also don't understand dying your hair gray - or any other unnatural color. Hair shouldn't be lavender.

  2. one of our libraries is closed for renovations too...but we have a bunch of branches! I'm sorry for you! :)
I don't understand the grey hair dye thing either.
Natalie is hardly holding on in that picture! lol.

  3. I didn't even know that dyeing your hair gray is a thing. But, I don't know why you would want to unless it's already gray.

  4. I'm with you on the ride thing. I don't like drops either.

  5. I hate rides. Amusement park rides are on my "things that scare me" list and that list is fairly short. I see a lot of blondes going grey now. It's so odd to me!

  6. Oh, wow! That is a super long time for the library to be closed. I hope your books last you until then!

  7. I'm thinking about the apple watch. I had a fit bit and my dog ate it. I'd never dye my hair grey. I hope to never let mine get long enough to notice the grey.

  9. I don't understand dying your hair gray, but I have to admit that I hope to have soft, silver hair when I get older, like my grandma did! Yes, I will rock that silver foxiness, when it's time! I don't know how you wait so long on shows. You have more will power than I do!

  10. The library being closed would make me so sad because I'd have to go to one of the other branches and I really hate the other branches that are within reasonable driving distance from my house. But this is why I have a shelf of books I've bought and eBooks. I can't be without my books.

Dying your hair gray makes less than zero sense to me. I try my hardest to cover that shit up.

  11. I just don't understand the Apple Watch.

  12. I'm not a GoT fan. My husband is. I'm just counting down the days (4) until Orphan Black returns. And then OITNB is back in less than 2 months!

  13. I'd be nervous that I'd finish all my books before it was reopened.

I'm annoyed that Apple has placed something on my phone that I'm not allowed to remove concerning the Apple watch.

  14. Nice! I really like this prompt! How about it's ok "Not to know what on fleek means"

Because I really don't feel like looking it up or asking someone younger than me.

  15. I don't ride rides anymore - I never liked them and I feel like at 45 I'm old enough to say NO way!!!
I don't get the gray hair thing either - a friend of mine colored hers all gray and at first I thought it was a joke - nope, she did it on purpose and has left it for months now.

  16. My husband keeps saying, "don't you want an Apple Watch?" I guess because I'm such an Apple junkie! But I don't go anywhere. I work from home and if I'm out of the house, I can look at my iPhone to find out what time it is.

  17. I agree with you, I don't want an Apple anything. So not a fan of Apple.

Hope the 26th gets here really quickly for you (my parents 40th anniversary)! : )

  18. Love your mine train picture. I spend so much money keeping my gray hair hidden - I can't imagine purposely dying it gray!

  19. I hate amusement park rides too! I love Apple, but don't want an Apple Watch. I am so happy GoT is back!!!! You may call me Khaleesi! I do get called it sometimes to tease me about how blonde my hair is!

  20. I don't really see the appeal of the Apple watch. I'm pissed they auto-downloaded their app onto my iphone. I want it gone!

I'm so nervous for you and your library situation! I went nuts and spent ridiculous amounts of money on books when our library closed down temporarily to move buildings.

  21. the apple watch is ridiculous! and the worst part is that all the apple minions are going to flock to it! by apple minion, i mean this guy at my work who i swear gets apple points because he's so hardcore apple

  22. At least you got on the mine train! The wait was too long for us and we didn't FASTPASS in time.
I keep hoping dying your hair grey will TRULY become in style, although I can't imagine looking better with gray hair than my natural dark brown. And yet, it revolts!

  24. We also have the lifetime channel here in the UK, I've only just discovered it! I watched Seeds Of Yesterday, too! It's my absolute favourite book series. The first movie was also good! However, the original flowers in the attic movie seriously sucked IMO
