Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to not care that the giraffe finally gave birth. My newsfeed blew up when it happened. I was more concerned with what I was having for lunch.

....to love the swimsuits from Justice for my daughter. We've been battling though on what is appropriate: she wants a tiny bikini, I say no way, so we compromised with tankinis.

....to have watched Hacksaw Ridge with my husband over the weekend. It's an inspiring movie. You'll gain respect for our soldiers when you see all they went through.

....to get to go on another date with Tom this week. We're going to Chili's. We're low key. And then he wants to go to Lowes but it's okay, because I came up with ways to amuse myself.

....to have gone to Taco Bell for lunch on Easter. No one wanted to cook. I did have an appropriate dinner though since I went to my Mom and Dad's.

....to plan on trying to Unicorn Frappuccino at Starbucks this week.

....to have taken Natalie to an Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic at Sea World the day before Easter. I'll write more about it later this week.

  1. I could have cared less about the giraffe, too. I have no idea why people were so interested....

  8. I think it's cool that April gave birth but I didn't understand the insane obsession with it. I don't do Starbucks but I've seen the Unicorn Frappuccino and I may just have to go there to try one. Gotta say, it looks delish.

  11. Haha, I totally busted out laughing when I read the bit about the giraffe. My cousin was getting pretty frustrated with seeing it everywhere too, and when we talked about the baby being born, she said, Uugh! Finally!"

  12. I just couldn't watch the whole birthing process. (Does this make me a potentially horrible mother?)
I DID however find it pretty incredible that animals are way more self-sufficient than humans.
