How A Snapology Franchise Is Great For Kids With Special Needs

This post has been sponsored by Nakturnal. All opinions are my own.

My son has been building things since he was tiny. He has autism, so I was always happy to see him concentrate on his creation. He would always get excited when he'd get new brick building toys.

I've always liked brick toys, because they do so much for kids with special needs like the following:

1. It works on their fine motor skills. My son has always had issues with this, so handling bricks and sticking them together was a big plus. I always liked for him to find fun ways to help with his fine motor skills.

2. It gives them a goal. My son would get large sets, and the goal would be to build them up with the instruction book. He would always be thrilled when he completed his creation. Once he built a gigantic helicopter! It took him like three hours and yeah, there were tears, but he finally finished. I love that he can learn through playing.

3. The bricks keep them busy. We all like quiet time! But the quiet time is a plus, because the kids are also learning. There are many different activities and things to build with brick sets. Plus, it can be a fun bonding experience with your child. My husband enjoyed helping our son put things together.

4. It builds their confidence. When they are able to finish a project, they can feel accomplished. Life isn't always easy for kids with special needs, but this shows them that yes, they can complete a project if they put forth the effort.

snapology

There are so many benefits to hands on learning. If you're looking to build confidence in your child, check out Snapology. Snapology is a partner for STEAM programs, and as you know, STEAM is important for kids. Snapology offers year round programs in schools, homes, community facilities, and discovery centers. (Check to see if there's one near you!)

Even better? You can join the Snapology franchise! It's a huge benefit, because you can be your own boss and excite your community.  It's always wonderful when you can find programs that help kids with special needs.  I know I'm always looking for ways to keep my son busy. The list of things that he enjoys is pretty small, but I know if I find a brick building area that he'll be good to go.

snapology

If you start a Snapology franchise, it's going to be a huge hit, because Snapology is used for so many things: camps, workshops, playdates, scouting events, anti-bullying programs, corporate team building, birthday parties....the list goes on and on!

I know my kids will always love their brick toys. Even though they are older, they'll still drag out the bin and make different things.

  19. Growing up, when we our parents did not have ipads and smartphones to keep up occupied, my favorite toy was building block. I believe it helped me open my mind, get creative and stay busy all day. I would encourage parents to dedicate a time for their kids and control tech time and other activities.
