I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
.....to be glad the rain held out for trick or treating. It poured and poured right before. Plus there was thunder and lightening. Then it thankfully moved off.
....to have ordered pizza on Halloween. It's so much easier.
....to have also taken candy from my kids since I took them trick or treating. Also, since I made them.
....to think it's funny that whenever I post a photo of a Starbucks drink, that someone leaves a comment on how sugary it is. I know this. Duh. Clearly I do not care.
....to have been enjoying The Conners. It's still an amusing show even without Roseanne.
....to have found this mask for 50% off at Walmart. Our cat was confused.

We did pizza for dinner last night, too! I didn't have time to cook, so pizza was much easier. and I am SO GLAD the rain moved out so you guys could get out for trick or treating.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had fun!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It's okay not to be the Pinterest Parent. It's okay to be the parent who orders pizza and is grateful for things that give them a little break. We do enough. There's no need for guilt.
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with Halloween finally being over and moving on to Thanksgiving. It is very okay not to be a pinterest parent.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to be already thinking of Christmas! haha (We have our Thanksgiving in October so the next thing for us is Christmas!)
ReplyDeleteWe went to Cici's last night because it was easy and has become a tradition with my son and his friends he brings along. As for the candy I also borrowed some. LOL As for the rain it did hold off and we went house to house and had a lot of fun although it did get a tad bit cold. As for the mask they was marked down here as well and my husband tried to buy a Scoobie mask although I convinced him to wait till today when things might be even cheaper. Also the mask may be gone and I wouldn't have to find a place for it. I know bad mom bad wife but I am the one who has to find places for these items.
ReplyDeleteI am OK with ordering pizza. It is too busy to cook a meal before going trick-or-treating LOL. I am OK with Halloween being done LOL.
ReplyDeleteI was so close to ordering pizza yesterday. I think I might order some tomorrow. Besides pizza being so good. It so convenient.
ReplyDeleteWe ate free hot dogs at a Trunk or Treat last night. It was easy! My kids have fun at Halloween, and I like spending time with them. It was a good night!
ReplyDeleteLOL to the starbucks thing. I get that too, I'm like AND?
ReplyDeleteIt was raining a lot here too yesterday. Unfortunately, it did not stop when it came to trick or treating time! Caught a glimpse of the Conners too, and I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteWe always order pizza for Halloween. It's so much easier than cooking anything.
ReplyDeletePizza on Halloween is the absolute best!
ReplyDeleteYour post reminded me to go to Walmart and Target tomorrow to grab some discounted Halloween stuff! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe ordered pizza, too. It's just too easy. I am so glad that we didn't have rain until later that night.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is okay to get some candies from the kids. lol! I got more than half of my niece's, the parents approved of it. haha
ReplyDeletePizza on Halloween sounds like a great idea to me. I wish I had thought of it myself.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason - eating PIZZA on Halloween kind of just sounds MANDATORY!
ReplyDeleteI like the pizza for Halloween but I made a sandwich for Halloween But next time I will get Pizza.
ReplyDeleteWe got the Witch's Brew after seeing your photo! And asked for no chia seeds. Ick. We didn't like it much, though. These things are once a year - why do people get weird about them??
ReplyDeleteI love the concept of this post! A simple way to show gratefulness for things we normally take for granted.
ReplyDeleteLove these!! Reminds me of a book my daughter loved as a toddler. (I think it was actually called The Okay Book!)
