Mini Brands: Do Your Kids Have This On Their Christmas List?

My daughter was all, "Oh, there's this thing called Mini Brands where you get tiny products," and I was like, "Huh?"

She also added, "They can be hard to find because lots of people love them."

I was confused.

Why were kids going crazy for tiny products? (But then I thought about my own childhood. Why did people go nuts for Pogs?)

Mini Brands can be tricky to find since lots of kids love them. I went to Walmart to look for one and was told that they usually fly off the shelves.

"Sometimes people just bring the whole container they come in to the front to buy," a worker told me.

I mean. ???

Anyway, I lucked out and found one.

You get 5 different mini brands and unwrap each wedge.

Still baffled?

Well, Natalie has opened 2 Mini Brands so far and this is what she got:

As you see, yes, they are mini brands. Exactly what the toy says. Are there actual product inside? Ha, no. I thought so too. But no. I mean, a smidge of vaseline could be worth it.

"So what's the point?" I asked Natalie.

"To collect and share what you got with friends," she answered.

She does check off what she gets:

Cats are intrigued too. They try to bat around the stuff.

Where can you find these? Normally in the spot where there are other mystery things to unwrap like LOL Dolls and such. They are $5.97 each. I've seen them at Walmart, Target, and sometimes Five Below. Amazon has them too, but for a higher cost.

I found another that will be going in Natalie's stocking, so we'll see what she gets in that one.

So does your child have this on their list? Or have you ever heard of this toy before?

  1. I have never heard of these but they are actually pretty adorable! If I had a younger girl I would get them for sure. I can see them liking to display a collection of these somewhere in their rooms.

  17. I've never heard of these. Some of the toys that kids enjoy these days really confuses me, like Fingerlings. I can get behind Hatchables (100% want one myself) but there are some toys they carry around that I just don't get.
But I suppose Pogs is a good way to address that. Why were we all so obsessed with them anyway?

  28. satta king Don't be alarmed at the amount of organic fertilizer you may need to use. Organic fertilizers contain a lower percentage of nutrients per unit weight than their synthetic counterparts. Because of this, it will probably be necessary to apply more volume of organic fertilizer than is typical for synthetic fertilizers. play bazaar

  29. If you're going to want to do some satta king home projects on your property, then you need to make sure you know what you're doing. When home improvements are done wrong, it could really Play Bazar make your real estate drop in value. It may just be best to hire someone that knows how to fix the problems the property has.
