Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

Hey, It's Okay....

.....to have taken the kids to see Hocus Pocus on the theater over the weekend. I'm also buying tickets for Beetlejuice! I love when theaters play older movies for a cheap cost.

.....to find it bizarre that it's still called Columbus Day. Google it. He wasn't a good man. We should change it to All This Land Belongs To Indigenous People Day or something.

.....to hope Natalie does well going back to in person learning. She said she liked being back but let's see if the work is done.

.....to have enjoyed Enola Holmes on Netflix. If you're looking for something sweet to watch, I recommend it. My daughter Natalie is obsessed because of the boy in it, the one who played the Marquis of Tewksbury or something like that. It was a long title.

.....to have bought this from Target. Yes, I totally got Little House Of Horror vibes. Which is why I needed it.

  10. Great points! Making a list of things we are OK with makes us feel better. I am OK that my laptop is not working even though I feel like throwing it out of the window. I take a deep breath and tell myself "It is OK."

  13. Hey it's okay if I was not able to accomplish all my task in a day. I only have one body and two hands, it's acceptable that I can't do it all.

  15. No oh well Hocus Pocus is a must on Halloween and how nice this thing to go back to the cinema to watch it!
As an Italian I can say that Columbus will have been what he was but if he "discovered" America it is a fact, ok not one hundred percent ... but at this point you can change the name of the continent, in short, why should you ever call you as Amerigo Vespucci? xD However objectively, and without offense, how much and what do you really know about our dear Cristoforo?
Enola Holmes I LOVED it !!!! I hope they do many more! Ohhh yes that boy is very good, have you seen him in "I Medici"? It deserves! In addition to telling a wonderful piece of the history of my country and a fascinating historical figure. Ahhhhh Lorenzo!

  16. Beetlejuice and Hocus Pocus are two of my favorites. My Halloween tradition with my parents growing up was to trick or treat, do a candy swap between my sister and I (I'm picky), and watch Young Frankenstein

  30. Ok, I have to watch Hocus Pocus and Bettlejuice again. Thanks for the recommendation of Enola Homes... You killed me with that crazy carnivorous plant LOL! Regarding Columbus, if we start changing names, we won't have Columbus in Ohio, Columbus Circle in New York City, or Columbia University (my Alma Mater). Also America our continent and our country will have to be renamed because they were both named after Italian merchant and explorer Amerigo Vespucci who was the one that discovered this one another continent and not part of the Indias... even the name of my home country Venezuela, would have to be renamed because it was named after Vespucci saw little houses in the water (which reminded him Venezia) that he referred to Veneziola which means Little Venice in Italian...
