I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
....to have enjoyed the new show The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers on Disney +. I watched all 3 Mighty Ducks movies so I figured I'd like this one. And I did. (Lauren Graham is in it aka Lorelei Gilmore!)
......to still be putting Easter baskets for the kids even though they are teenagers. I did warn them at some point they would stop and they looked horrified. (I have some Easter basket ideas for teens here.)
......to currently be reading The Return by Nicholas Sparks. Here's the thing about Nicholas Sparks books: I used to love them. Then they started to become pretty repetitive. Different names, same basic plot. Nearly always set in New Bern, NC. However, I'm entertained enough to keep reading them, but I no longer purchase the books as I once did. Now I get them from the library. (But I do own all his earlier works!)
.....to love this Orange Bird spirit jersey that I found on ShopDisney. (They are at the parks too!) It goes perfectly with my Orange Bird sipper that I picked up the last time we were at Walt Disney World (We return in July.)
That sweatshirt is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThat Orange bird shirt looks so nice. Perfect for Easter day.
ReplyDeleteIt is such anice thing to keep the holiday traditions alive and even older kids will still like it. I am celebrating Passover and try and do it with the older kids.
ReplyDeleteI have to buy some items for Easter baskets. My boys are teens and still love baskets.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. Today I think I'm ok watching more TV than I usually do because I find it really relaxing before I fall asleep at night!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I've been missing out on orange bird. Why didn't I know he existed?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun post! I love Lauren Graham (from Gilmore Girls and Parenthood!) and I also feel the same about Nicholas Sparks books. Is The Return his newish one?
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute that you make Easter baskets for your teenagers!
ReplyDeleteHey it’s okay.... I’m 35 and my mom still sends some Easter basket stuff each year to me AND my two children... 😂. Love this whole article idea btw!
ReplyDeleteEaster baskets are so much fun right? My son still gets one too and he's a teen! Great post
ReplyDeleteI am a huge Orange Bird fan! We have some really cute orange bird pins that we got on a Disney trip!
ReplyDeleteMy kids are getting older now and they still love getting Easter baskets. I think it's a lot of fun and I don't mind it at all.
ReplyDeleteI think that even the adults are waiting for the Easter baskets :). They are too fun!
