The Birthday Weekend Where I Ate A Ton Of Food

It was my birthday over the weekend. And I ate a TON of food. And had a ton of fun. I mean, why limit your birthday to ONE day?

It started off at Chuy's where I ate my weight in chips, salsa, and jalapeno ranch dip.

We stayed a few days with my parents, so we got to relax by their pool. Well, I relaxed. The kids actually played in the pool.

On Friday we went to Cooper's, which has some of the best BBQ around. If you're in the New Braunfels area, try them out.

We stopped in at Buc-ees, which is always exciting. (I did a post on what is inside here.)

Friday night we went to The Melting Pot. I got a fruity cocktail. And Diet Coke. Because Diet Coke is a must. But that cocktail was delicious.

Oh gosh, everything is always so delicious there. My favorite is always the chocolate.

Saturday was my actual birthday. We went to try out an Italian restaurant. I'll be sharing more about that in a future post. But here's dessert.

Afterwards we went to a Antiques Store and there were all sorts of neat things. Does anyone need a giant Elvis?

That evening we had cake:

Yup, I still love Grogu! And for some reason I had issues with blowing out ONE candle. Sheesh.

So yes, there was tons of food. I had a wonderful birthday weekend with my parents and kids.

Oh and Tom sent a present since he's deployed, and I'm sure no one is surprised that I got this:
