Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

.....to can't believe the kids start school next week. Natalie will be a freshman and Tommy will be starting his second year of community college.

.....to hope my son's community college has some in person classes this semester. Right now the first 2 weeks will be virtual and he's worried they'll remain that way the entire fall semester. It can be tough to do virtual school for some college classes.

.....to keep checking to see if Spirit Halloween is open. The one that is usually near us doesn't even look like it's started to set up. Ack! I am ready for Halloween!

.....to be hanging out with my parents for a few days this week. We'll be headed back to Red Rooster Antiques and The Cheesecake Factory! Plus some other fun spots.

......to have loved this pistachio cake from the Morocco stand at the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. Plus it's pretty! (If you want to check out more foods we tried, I have a post here.)

  2. Yay!!! Fortnite... Ariana Grande is the latest icon making a "grande" entrance into the world of Fortnite. Like the latest Icon addition, LeBron James, Ariana will appear with skins, bling, and other accessories purchasable in Fortnite's in-game shop. The main draw is that she'll be headlining the newest in-game concert titled the "Rift Tour" from August 6-8. I am so excited for the tour that I downloaded Fortnite following this guide

  9. Having the classes virtually all the time sounds really hard. I hope that schools can go back to normal sooner.

  24. It's definitely okay to want that cake and watch for the Spirit Stores. My kids went to one day of school and then went virtual until Tuesday. They are eager to be back in person, hopefully without further Covid cases.
