I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be going to my mom and dad's house for Easter. We aren't religious so I am excited for the food. Also I usually get chocolate from the Easter Bunny ;)
.....to have dyed eggs with the kids. Well, I just brought stuff out, then I let them dye the eggs. They are older but they still enjoy doing it.
.....to currently be reading Last Girl Ghosted by Lisa Unger. It's about Wren who meets a man online. She thinks she has connected with him. Then he suddenly disappears. She can't find a trace of him anywhere. The plot thickens when a private detective shows up asking if she's seen the man she met online. Is he responsible for a bunch of missing girls? I'm a few chapters in and I want to know who the heck this guy is.
......to have finished watching Gilmore Girls with my daughter. I had seen the show multiple times but she has gotten into it so we watched together. She loves it. We're going to watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel next. The creator of Gilmore Girls also created that show and I hear it's fabulous.
.....to love the bluebonnets around Tommy's college. They are beautiful. Spring is the best.
I think you and Natalie will like Mrs. Maisel!
ReplyDeleteBlue Bonnets are one of my favorite flowers. I love them so much.
ReplyDeleteWe dyed Easter eggs too! I'm an adult and still find it fun to do.
ReplyDeleteI have not even thought about Easter plans yet. My neighbor just dropped off some pork ribs from here food pantry visit. So they will be on the menu.
ReplyDeleteWe are having our family Easter egg hunt this weekend and I'm pretty excited. Its been a while since we were able to get all the kids together.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading these posts! I'm excited for Easter as well, and I love watching Gilmore Girls with my mom, haha :)
ReplyDeleteMy family have many events planned for this years easter, we're all very excited.
ReplyDeleteEaster is such a good occasion to spend some time with the family! My sister is coming over and I am so happy for that!
ReplyDeleteDoes your mom still make you an Easter Basket? I typically make one for my mom. (it's more so of a self-care basket.)
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could find a good bluebonnet patch here in Fort Worth. Most of them end up being on the side of the freeway and to me it is way to dangerous to think about taking photos.
