Eating At P.Terry's--Was It Good?

P. Terry's started off as a simple burger stand in 2005. When I say simple though, I don't mean the food is gross. No, they serve burgers and chicken sandwiches made with quality meat, fries made from all-natural potatoes, free from trans and hydrogenated oils, and authentic milkshakes. It's design is from the 50s and 60s, which adds to the fun. 

They opened one minutes from my house so I knew I had to check it out. 

Some P.Terry's are simply a drive thru window. But this one has seating inside and outside. 

The menu isn't huge, which is fine with me, and nothing is too expensive. 

I must say, I love the colors:

We ended up getting two cheeseburger combos (the combos come with fries+a small drink) and a double hamburger combo (my son doesn't like cheese.) I also got an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Did I want a milkshake too? Yes. But I was like, Amber, you're getting a cookie, that's enough. But I was also like I could go for a chocolate shake. YOU CAN COME BACK FOR A CHOCOLATE SHAKE THIS PLACE IS MINUTES FROM YOUR HOME. Sometimes I'm mean to myself. Anyway.

Our food was ready in like 5 minutes and was around $24 for everything.

The fries were well salted and delicious. You can tell they were made from fresh potatoes.

I'm big on Coke products and I was pleased to see them there in their classic logos:

The burgers were scrumptious! Well seasoned with their special sauce, plus a perfect size. I noticed in some reviews on Google people claimed the burgers were too small. I didn't think so. Shake Shack burgers are small. These are not.

The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was tasty. They also have banana bread which I need to try. 

My daughter can be picky about what burgers she'll eat--she's a chicken tenders girl--but she gobbled up her entire burger and fries. 

We will be back. I need to try a milkshake (and there are a variety of flavors: double chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, caramel, root beer & Oreo. Plus they have a speciality shake each month. This month it's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.)

They also serve breakfast, which we'll also need to taste. I'm glad it's so close so I can easily pop in.
