I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be glad the kids had a great first day of school. Natalie started 10th grade and Tommy returned to college classes.
.....to need to watch House of the Dragon at some point. We have HBO Max. I'm glad I didn't try to watch when it became available because apparently the app crashed from so many people trying to tune in.
.....to currently be reading Book Lovers by Emily Henry. It's about Nora who is a busy literary agent--she decides to take a break and go on a trip with her sister Libby. While there, she runs into her nemesis Charlie, who is a book editor, and Nora does NOT like him. But as she gets to know him, maybe that will change..
.....to be amused that Natalie wore my former clothes on the first day of school. I think I bought both of those in the early 00s, which is what her vibe is these days. (I can no longer fit into them as I won't give up my McDonald's fries and other sweets.)
Natalie looks nice in your clothes. It's nice that you've kept them so long!
ReplyDeleteI need to look up this House of the Dragon. I heard it mentioned on the radio today too but I've no idea what it's about although it seems popular.
ReplyDeleteNatalie looks so great in that outfit! Book Lovers seems like it will be a fun read.

ReplyDeleteIt's a great look on her, definitely getting that early 00's vibes off it especially with the butterfly accessory! Hope you have more time for self care or catch-up now that the kids are back in school!
ReplyDeleteNatalie looks great in your clothes! I still have a pair of jeans from high school that I am intent on wearing again.

ReplyDeleteI just had to drop a comment after reading your post titled "Hey, It's Okay." What a refreshing and uplifting message you've shared! In a world that often expects perfection and puts immense pressure on us to have it all together.
