I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
....to have had a wonderful time spending a few days with my parents. A highlight was going to The Melting Pot--we love that place.
......to be going to Tommy's college orientation this week. It's official: he's going to UTSA and will be living in the dorms.
.....to think the whole situation with the Titan imploding is horribly sad. I feel for the families but it reminds me that as much as I am fascinated with the Titanic, I could never go down to see it. One, I'm not rich enough and two, I would immediately panic when we started heading down.
.....to have loved seeing Hamilton on stage. Natalie teared up when it first started because she's loved the show since she was a little girl and here it was in front of her! If you're in the San Antonio area, it'll be playing at the Majestic Theatre until July 2nd so go! My son went as well and he enjoyed it.
......to have tried Grimace's Birthday Meal at McDonalds. I have always liked Grimace. You can either get the 10 piece chicken nugget or the Big Mac meal and it comes with a Grimace shake which is naturally purple! What exactly does it taste like? Well, it tasted like Fruity Pebbles to me. If you want to try one, hurry, because I think they're going away soon.
The Grimace Shake is quite a Lovely hue, but I think I'd prefer it to taste like a Lavender Latte', which, I know... would be too Bougee for Kids, so Fruity Pebbles flavor makes more sense for the Littles. *smiles*
ReplyDeleteThe Grimace shake looks yummy...I may have to try one.
ReplyDeleteThe purple color of the shake is awesome. I wish that I could try one but it has milk in it.
ReplyDeleteI would really love to try this lovely looking shake! My kids are going to love this too for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat shake looks absolutely delicious and refreshing! I would really love to try it out
ReplyDeleteThat's such a fun color for a milk shake, makes sense for the character of course! Very glad that Natalie got to see Hamilton live and of course congratz again to Tommy!!
ReplyDeleteThe shake look so inviting. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have NEVER been to the melting pot and I really need to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you liked Hamilton and you finally had the occasion to see it on stage!
ReplyDeleteI saw the shakes but I didn't try them yet. Congrats to your son and hurrah for seeing Hamilton!
ReplyDeleteThe shake looks delicious, and I'd love to try it! A big congratulations to your son and hurrah to seeing Hamilton!
ReplyDeleteIt is Ok to do what you want to do and not worry what any one else thinks!
ReplyDeleteI still need to get the Grimace drink! Looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteCollege happens so fast. My daughter is doing a college program this summer, she's only a junior but it is still a big change to have her stay at college.
So glad you enjoyed Hamilton .. it was definitely a memorable experience for us as well.. and i hope to join in on a future 'It is okay' link..
ReplyDeleteI work at McDonald’s and got to sample the grimace shake. It’s blueberry but not an overwhelming blueberry flavor. It’s been a hit with the kids.
