It finally happened!
We got to see Hamilton written by Lin-Manual Miranda. It's been years in the making. I think it was about 2 years ago that my parents bought the tickets as a gift. We were supposed to watch it last year but then a Covid outbreak happened and it was moved to a year later.
Of course we knew we loved the show. I've written about how my daughter has always loved Hamilton and we've seen it on Disney+.
But to finally be able to view it LIVE. We were thrilled. And even better, my son decided to come with us. I told him there was rap and pretty girls and that did it.
We went to the Majestic Theatre, which is gorgeous. (Natalie is wearing a dress from Lacemade.)
We had amazing seats!
Yes, we absolutely loved the show. Tommy did as well. He liked all the music. And as usual, the Majestic is absolutely beautiful inside:
Afterwards we went to the Stage Door because sometimes actors come out. It was a 2 show day so I didn't expect many. We did meet Zach, who was a kind swing. He was in for Samuel Seabury that day and took the time to take a photo and sign Natalie's program:
We saw the Hamiltion Philips Tour and it's traveling across the US so you have a chance to see it as well. It's the kind of show you can watch repeatedly and not get bored. If you enjoy history and catchy tunes, this is the show for you.

oh my! that theater is so beautiful.. and it is always wonderful when we can meet cast members and be able to chat with them even for a bit..
