I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have enjoyed the movie Priscilla, directed by Sofia Coppola. It's about Priscilla Presley and all she went through being with Elvis. That couldn't have been easy. Some people are upset that it portrays Elvis in a negative light but it's like, hi, the man was not a saint.
.....to have loved seeing Tommy over the weekend. We went to my parents house to celebrate my dad's birthday early and he was able to join us. We also stopped by Bucees, which is always fun.
.....to be grateful for all the Veterans out there who have helped fight for my freedom. This includes my husband and my mother, who I know went through a lot during their time in the military. Veteran's Day is November 11th.
.....to have loved this sign that I found when we stopped in at Bucees. It's so true!
It's ok to just be you................
ReplyDeleteI'm sooo grateful to all the veterans! I will be paying my respects on Nov. 11th.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that Tommy is able to visit so often. Having him close to home helps.
ReplyDeleteI really love that sign as well. My daughters birthday is on November 11th, and we're glad to always gets to share her special day with the veterans.
ReplyDeleteYou made me curious to watch Priscilla movie! I would like to know more about their lives!
ReplyDeleteI have seen the trailer for the Priscilla movie and it looks really good! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteAlways grateful for all of the sacrifices our veterans have made for us!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! The sign is so true, just because you're a lady doesn't mean you can't be a legend.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fab idea. I love that sign block too, so pretty
ReplyDeleteLove the sign.. and will be seeing the priscilla movie with my daughter sometime soon..
ReplyDeleteI haven’t heard of the movie Priscilla. I’ll have to check it out. I’m glad you got to see Tommy even if it was for a short visit.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how the Priscilla movie was. Sounds interesting, as I don't know much about her. Glad you had a chance to see Tommy.
