I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. Tommy was home from college and Natalie was off from school so we spent a lot of time together. We decorated the tree, saw movies, went to see Christmas lights, and we ate a lot of delicious food.
.....to be excited that Tommy will be back shortly due to Christmas break. He should be home this weekend or next, depending on when his last final is. He's already signed up for Spring classes.
.....to have enjoyed The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. They missed some fabulous book stuff though, so read the book! You can buy it here for $10. But I still recommend the movie.
.....to be going to see A Christmas Carol at Natalie's school this week. Natalie is Mrs. Cratchit and has been enjoying rehearsals. She loves her costume. All I know is that it's pink. I'll find out for sure Thursday!
.....to love going to Hu Hot--for those who don't know, it's an all you can eat stir fry place--right now if you buy $50 in gift cards, you get $10 back. This is a perfect spot to bring teens with a bottomless stomach:
I am liking this 'Hey, it's OK' idea! I'm going to grab my pen and paper, follow your lead and make my own list! Stephanie

ReplyDeleteHey, it's okay" is a comforting mantra that speaks to the human experience. In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, this phrase serves as a gentle reminder to grant ourselves permission to be imperfect, to embrace vulnerability, and to acknowledge that not every day needs to be flawless. Whether facing personal struggles or simply navigating the complexities of daily life, this message offers solace and encouragement. It's a compassionate embrace, affirming that, despite the ups and downs, it's okay to be exactly where you are in this moment.
