I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be excited to see Tommy in The Important Of Being Earnest on Saturday. He's in the thespian club at his college and a student is directing. He's Merriman!
.....to have picked up some 50% off Easter chocolate at the grocery store. Wait on those Reese's eggs! You'll probably find some on clearance.
.....to have fallen for so many things on April Fools that were posted online. Old television shows returning, treats being released...I am just gullible. Also, many of them I read before my caffeine had kicked in.
.....to be glad that Natalie's school is letting them watch the eclipse next week. They still have school. Some districts canceled classes but hers did not, but an email was sent out saying that glasses would be passed out and students will be able to watch on campus. Tommy doesn't have college classes and they're doing a viewing party.
.....to have picked up this eclipse-inspired Blackout Slush Float at Sonic. The description says that it's a Blackout slush flavor, and I'm pretty sure it was grape. It's mixed with vanilla soft served and topped with galaxy sprinkles. I thought it was refreshing. And it came with eclipse glasses.
That slush float looks amazing. I haven't been to Sonic in so long. I should go to check that out! Also, I went and got some 50% off Easter candy as well.
ReplyDeleteMy boys love when I get the after Easter chocolate. I usually wait until it is 75% off/
ReplyDeleteThat slush looks so good! We moved and there is not a sonic close to us anymore so please enjoy that slushy for me! I hope your daughter has a great time at school watching the eclipse. My son will be off for spring break then so we will be watching it from the house!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that you'll get to see Tommy in action! Your kids are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMy son’s school is doing a fire drill during the eclipse. I’ll be at work so I don’t know if I’ll be able to see anything.
ReplyDeleteI’m going to try the slush this coming weekend.
It is okay that we can only see (maybe if the weather cooperates) a partial eclipse when it comes around next week... and i got taken in my some of those online pranks as well!
