HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have loved having the kids home for Thanksgiving break. We had the best time and ate a lot of delicious food.
.....to have explored downtown. Their holiday lights are out, so they were pretty to see. Plus my daughter had to film The Menger Hotel for a school project, so that was neat considering it's haunted.
......to have lugged out all the Christmas decor and set it up. That can get overwhelming because there are SO MANY PLASTIC BINS but I got it done. Plus the outdoor stuff is set up as well! Yay!
......to might start wrapping gifts this week so I don't leave it all until the last moment.
.....to love this smiley ketchup plate that they give you at Johnny Rockets. It's so cheerful.

My son came home for Thanksgiving and I loved it. His visit went by too fast.
ReplyDeleteMore great ideas this week, I see! Setting up the Christmas tree and Christmas lights was we spent our time on as well. It was worth it!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got to have a nice dinner with your babies. We also have our decorations up but I'm lucky since my stepdad did it all!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much work to get all the decorations out and put up. We have so many bins up in the attic, and it is always a big project.

ReplyDeleteToday I've decorated my outdoor Christmas tree as well. The indoor one will probably go up next week as I didn't have time for it too. This year, for the first time ever, I bought a wreath for the door as well. So yes, it's ok :)

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had an incredible time with the kids for the holidays ;) I love that and the sound of that hotel has me intrigued.....I love stuff like that! And I am so missing Johnny Rockets right now.....as I used to go a lot when we lived in Myrtle Beach.....always so much fun and yummy food too.
