Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To have enjoyed Captain America: Civil War. I'm Team Captain America.

--To really wish certain hotel guests would read my post How Not To Be An Asshole While Staying In A Hotel. There's the world's most annoying kid who likes to scream in the hall. I hope he checks out soon.

--To be taking the kids to see The Angry Birds movie at some point.

--To be grateful that my parents took the kids for a week. They come back tomorrow and will be with us for a few days and then will go back with my parents. They have more fun there than a hotel.

--To love that I can see my family more often. Being a military family this didn't happen often. On Friday we're getting together because my Nana Jo is during 95.

--To miss my DVR. Tom doesn't like a lot of reality shows I do so I just have to hope they'll pop up On Demand. I tried to put on Sister Wives and he was like, "Um, no."

--To have cheered at the end of the latest episode of Game of Thrones.

--To love that I can go to HEB whenever I want now.

Airing My Dirty Laundry

  1. I wonder if I'd like Game of Thrones. It's one of those shows that everyone loves but I'm not sure if I would!

  2. Oh I'm so sorry. That kid would drive me nuts too! We are always telling our kids to be quiet in hotels so we don't disturb others.

  3. I'm so glad your parents have been able to take the kids. I am sure that has been nice.

  4. Ugh.. reading about the kid raised my blood pressure.. I had seen your tweet too.. Really, people?? Awesome about your Nana Jo! Take lots of pics..

  5. I'm starting to miss stuff from my pack up too! I'm so happy for you that you get to be near family this duty station. How nice for your kids to get to know family.!

  6. Hurrah! That's so nice that your parents took the kids for a week! I still need to see Captain America!!

  7. glad you had a week away from the kids. i would go stir crazy in a hotel after a days. hang in there!!

  8. Game of Thrones is so exciting this season! I can't wait until the next episode. I am definitely Team Cap as well. I thought Civil War was very well done!

  9. I don't have cable, and sometimes I miss reality shows.

Hotel life can get pretty old after a while. I am glad your parents are nearby so the kids have an outlet.

  10. I'm enjoying Captain America myself right now! I'm Team Cap. I wish I could go to HEB all the time!

  11. I am hoping that screaming is indeed reading and I know if it were me, I too would not be pleased one bit at all. That said I am also not sure I could live without my DVR as I am always missing shows that I want to watch and my DVR is a life saver in times like this. But that is just me ;)

  12. I loved Captain America! It was the first movie in years that my husband and I actually sat and watched in a theater together!

  13. I think it is so awesome how close you are to your family now! That must be so fun! We are a 7 hour drive now opposed to 10, and even that feels wonderful!
