Hey, It's Okay Tuesday

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

---------------

To have enjoyed The Heat. It was highly amusing. I’ve always been a fan of Melissa McCarthy since her Gilmore Girls days.

To not be a fan of Vera Bradley stuff. Women around me tend to go nuts over it. Just not my style.

To still have mac and cheese even though there are reports on how bad it is for you. Everything in moderation, right?

To have also liked Despicable Me 2. We went yesterday. Those minions are hilarious.

To be excited that Wicked is coming to Oklahoma City. I really want to go. I need to see if I can arrange to see it. I'd LOVE to take Natalie.

To hope people will try out my book The Swimmer’s Assistant if they are looking for something to read. It’s only .99 cents on Amazon!

To want to try the new pretzel cheeseburger at Wendys. Oh, and the pretzel dog at Sonic.

To still have two giveaways going. I will pick a winner this weekend. You can win a pair of glasses from Firmoo here and a $50 gift certificate to Novica here.

  1. I saw The Heat on Sunday and I still laugh thinking about some of those scenes. Melissa is a true talent! Why did Sandra look Asian? Must have been her eyeliner.

  2. That damn pretzel dog calls my name every time I drive past Sonic on my way home.
I'm not a huge fan of Vera Bradley either. I've only ever found one pattern that I actually like/.

  4. I like some of the Vera travel accessories because they're practical, but I don't go crazy for most of it. I'd rather save up a little andget a nicer brand :)

I had the pretzel dog at Sonic the other day and it was yummy!

  5. We saw the traveling Wicked when it came through Vegas. Very good, but the sound at our place was horrid. Na would probably like it.

  6. I am dying to see both movies! Never seen Wicked - want to see it though. Pretzel cheeseburger and dogs - sound sooo yummy but not on my diet, ugh!! And is it sad that I had to look up who Vera Bradley is? And yeah, not my cup of tea.

  7. I wanna see The Heat too! I'm planning to go with my BFF. Gilmore Girls was my show back in the day! And my hunbby specifically asked me for some mac & cheese the other day. How funny.
By the way, where's all the link-up's for this post?! I'm all about this blog idea, I love it!

  8. Both The Heat and Despicable Me 2 were really good movies! I enjoyed them a lot. I have never had a pretzel bun on anything before...but it sounds pretty darn good! =]

  9. Definitely had to go to Wendy's website for that one. Intriguing!
Oh, and Vera Bradley? I don't get it at all. I think it looks like it's meant for very old ladies.

  10. I agree with you- I don't get the whole Vera Bradley thing. I'm not a fan either.

I hope you're able to see Wicked!

  12. I heard The Heat was funny!

My boys tried the pretzel dog at Sonic and loved it. I thought about asking them if they'd just give me the bun.

So exciting about your book- I went and bought before commenting! Can't wait to read!

  14. We were able to see Wicked a couple years ago when it came through Tulsa-it was my husband's first broadway show. Now, he's insisting that we go see it again in Sept. Btw, we also had the pretzel burgers last week...big hit. Highly recommend them.
