Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------------

To not watch Pretty Little Liars. I just couldn't get into it. I tried, since I kept hearing about it. Oh well. I watch enough TV.

To hate packing. I rant about this a lot. I'm leaving for Texas tomorrow.

To not fold things neatly when I pack. I sort of ball them up and toss them in the suitcase.

To be glad I won't be alone on my birthday. It's Thursday. Tom will be at his military class. I mean, yes, I have my kids, and as fun as they are, it's nice to be around other ADULTS. Luckily I'll be with my parents, who rock. (Literally. The rock out to their rock music.)

To be ready to relax at the beach. We leave for that on Sunday! My Grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousins will be there too. I'm still bummed Tom won't be able to make it. Darn Air Force. Taking him the one time we had plans. *Le sigh*

To have started watching Orange Is The New Black. Finally! I kept hearing about it and decided I needed to see what all the fuss was about. I'm liking it, so far. Another reason why I didn't mind liking Pretty Little Liars. I have enough to watch!

To think it's cool that Natalie loves snakes. I am not a fan, but she thinks they are fantastic. She sort of just took this one from the lady. I'm not sure if she was really allowed to hold it.

  2. I'm sorry that Tom is missing your birthday and the beach. It seems like my husband leaves whenever we have plans as well. It makes it really difficult to plan anything!

OITNB is awesome! I haven't started watching season 2 but I loved season 1!

  6. I'm sorry Tom is going to be missing your birthday AND the beach. :(
I hate packing too. I try to pack neatly when I am packing to GO to the destination, but once I'm done and on my way back home things are just thrown in.

  7. Ugh... Packing is the WORST! We leave tomorrow for a mini-vaca for a wedding and I haven't even thought about packing... actually no, that is a lie, I thought about doing it this morning and then promptly decided that reading blogs was WAY more important and that I can maybe throw some stuff in a bag tomorrow??

  8. I'm glad you're having a birthday beach week! That's awesome. I'm sorry Tom won't be there.

  9. Packing and folding are some of the worst, actually I really don't like doing any household chores. Is that ok or probably should keep that under my belt? Have a great time at the beach!

  10. Aw! Have fun and YAY for birthday's! Sad your husband cant go but he's a great guy for always sticking to his responsibilities. Your daughter is AMAZING. She handles that snake like a pro! When/if I have a daughter, I want her to be that awesome.

  11. I don't mind packing, but I sure hate unpacking! We usually live out of the suitcases until they are empty and then put them away.

  12. So brave with the snake! I find that I don't like the books that others are raving about, and that's ok. I got plenty to read (to quote you loosely).

I do like Pretty Little Liars, though. I'm a season behind! I have no idea what's going on in it anymore.

  20. I felt the same way about Pretty Little Liars. I tried...it was just too soap opera-y. Same with Gossip Girl. I think the soap opera ship has sailed in my world! I did like the first season of Orange is the New Black but I don't know if I can take the angst of a second season. I'll definitely give it a try!

    Snakes...YIKES!

  23. I've never tried Pretty Little Liars, I don't really feel like I'm missing out. Orange is the New Black on the other hand...LOVE! I have to wait for my husband to watch episodes and it's killing me. I want to binge watch so badly!

  24. I had the same experience when trying to watch Pretty Little Liars. I simply could not get into it. Then I started thinking that maybe it wasn't the best show for my girls to watch. So, being the fun sucking mom that I am. I banned them. Also told them I would KNOW if they watched it. :)

    I can't stand packing either.
    Have a super day!

  25. Natalie is not afraid of much, is she? Have a wonderful trip, even if Tom isn't able to be there. Happy Birthday!

  26. I'm glad that even though Tom is at class you will get to hang with your parents on your birthday - and in TX!!!
I'm with Natalie - I think snakes are fascinating!

  31. Pity that Tom can't join you or be with you on your birthday!

I still haven't started watching Orange ... Is it really good? Cause I can't even keep up with all the other shows I am watching.
