Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
------------

--To have been a little freaked out at the Fifty Shades of Grey preview. Was I supposed to be turned on? Because the dude has crazy eyes and I couldn't take him seriously. But I couldn't take Christian in the book seriously either.

--To LOVE the new Gymboree line Posh and Playful.

--To have had fun in Dallas. We just went for the weekend and checked out the Grapevine Mills mall, which was awesome. Plus we went to a rodeo, which I'll write about. There were some people who seemed to think they were dressing to go to a club though.

--To need to start listing Natalie's clothes on eBay. I think I'll have mainly size 4s and 5s. I'll post the link when they are up.

--To have a Moon Pie Prize Pack from First Things First here.

--To think it's awesome that Tom will do silly stuff to make his little girl happy.

  2. It's great what a dad is willing to do to entertain their kids, ha ha. I remember my boyfriend having red lipstick that looked like it was applied with a shovel, just because the girls wanted to put it on him :)

  3. Moon pies!? Must check that out.
And I'd be curious to see the rodeo outfits. Also curious about the clothes! Scarlet is a 4T or 5.

  4. I love when dads get silly to make their kids happy. I totally don't get the 50 shades hype. I never read the book.

  5. Have you used ThredUp for kid's clothes? I think it's a consignment site. Your daughter has cute clothes. I may need to check out what you put on e-bay!

I have no interest in anything 50 Shades related. :P

I've been to Grapevine Mills. I like that it goes in a circle. We have a cool outlet mall like that about 30 minutes from where I live.

  8. OMG, poor Tom looks hysterical! That expression is too funny.

I looooove posting stuff on eBay. Well, when I have time, that is. It can be addicting.

  10. I never thought of buying or selling kids clothes on eBay because I know my kids' clothes are no candidate for 2nd hand shops - overwashed, stained, faded. You must keep yours mighty nice!

  13. Love these lists! I was a bit freaked out by 50 shades of grey too. But I never read the books so I figured that was why!

  14. I thought that trailer was ridiculous, too. That little guy didn't look imposing at all...his stare wasn't sexy it made me laugh.
I love a dad that will do silly things for his little girl! It's so sweet! :) --Lisa

  16. I'm 33 and I STILL can get my dad to do silly things for me... like wear turkey hats at thanksgiving or wear christmas headbands/hats for the christmas parade every year. A father's love is like no other.

  18. I couldn't get into the 50 Shades of Gray book--I didn't make it past the first few chapters. It just seemed like a romance novel to me. I couldn't get what the big deal was--not that it was bad. It just bugged me that the book had become this HUGE sensation when there was nothing at all special about it. Then I heard she built a following writing Twilight fanfic and it made a little more sense. I guess her online fans made it a hit.

  19. I still haven't read 50 Shades. I feel like I need to just to see what all the chatter is about.

  20. The look on Tom's face cracks me up!

I was not impressed by the 50 Shades preview. It seems so weird to me that it's coming out on Valentine's Day, as if it's a romantic movie. No.

  21. That 50 Shades trailer didn't do it for me either. I'll probably see the movie, but not likely in a theater...
