-----------
--To have watched part of Peter Pan Live. Christopher Walken wasn't really energetic enough to play Captain Hook. I know he's in his 70s but dang, if he preferred to nap, why take the part?!
--To love the FitBit my Mom gave me as an early Christmas present. Want to be FitBit friends? Let me know! Laugh at my low steps.
--To have watched Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas. It was...odd. But it's a Lifetime movie. And I love Grumpy Cat. Natalie was amused.
--To be excited to go on a date with Tom Friday night. We're going to a German restaurant.
--To have also watched the Girl Meets World Christmas special. Shawn returned! Girl Meets World is a good show. Some shows geared towards kids make me want to tear my ears off, but this one is entertaining.
--To be glad my Holiday Gift Guide For The Stumped helped some people out!
--To have a busy weekend coming up. Natalie's school has a craft fair on Saturday. Then later that day is the squadron Christmas party for kids. Sunday we're taking the kids to see Santa at the Bass Pro Shop. (It's free!)
--To have tried to make cookies. They ended up like this.
Oops. Natalie was like, "Princess Peach wants to know what you did to these cookies?"
We watched about 15 minutes of Grumpy Cat movie and turned it off. I wanted nothing to do with it but Hubbs thought it was hilarious. He quickly changed his mind!
ReplyDeleteI had seen the candy cane cookies the other day and was thinking about them. Then I saw that pic on Instragram, giggled and said Nevermind! : )
your cookies look like mine!!
ReplyDeleteWe are actually getting the Grumpy Cat movie this week at the store and I was wondering if I should watch it...
ReplyDeleteAnd yum German food is my favorite...
And I really, really miss Girl Meets World now that I don't have cable, but if that's all that I miss I think I'll be okay.
i watched the peter pan thing with kayla and while she loved it (the singing etc), i thought it was a bit strange...and christopher walken .... he's on his last legs LOL
ReplyDeleteI liked Christopher Walken's tap dancing and that was about it. Peter Pan was just too long and kind of boring...I had it on the entire time, but lost interest and started doing other things. I'll have to see if I can find Girl Meets World Christmas Special...I'd like to see Shawn as a grown up =)
ReplyDeleteI also watched Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. Not so sure if that was okay, haha :)
ReplyDeleteChristopher Walken is in his 70s?!?
ReplyDeleteI keep going back and forth on whether or not I will actually use the FitBit if I get one. You'll have to keep me posted on whether you keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the German restaurant! I always enjoy those. :)
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! It must be the pan why are some cooked correctly and some are burnt.....totally blame it on the equipment not the operator ;-)
ReplyDeletemy kids watched peter pan live and I think they liked it!
ReplyDeletePeter Pan was horrid. I couldn't do it. Same with Grumpy Cat, although Erica loved it. However, the return of Shawn made me so ridiculously happy I actually started clapping.
ReplyDeleteYour cooked are why I don't bake - I just don't have the patience for it and always end up with a mess!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even watch any of the Peter Pan Live - last year I had been so excited about Sound of Music Live and then ended up being really disappointed.
I missed Peter Pan Live. But we watched Grumpy Cat. My boys have watched it a few times since it was on.
ReplyDeleteI think we need a Princess Peach doll :)
ReplyDeleteYour cookies cracked me up - that's what mine look like every single time!
ReplyDeleteScarlet watched the whole Grumpy Cat movie but sadly, I fell asleep. Don't tell Scarlet!
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your date! I wanna see the Grumpy Cat movie! Someday I'd like to own a FitBit. I've heard great things about them.
ReplyDeleteI DVRed the Peter Pan special, but we haven't watched it yet. I'm hoping to this weekend. The kids are excited since we recently read the book.
ReplyDeleteOh no! The cookies!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Christopher Walken (aka - it needs more cowbell - LOL)... sad to hear he ended up not doing such a great job in his part.
I would love to get a FitBit. My hubby says I can get the same features with an app on my phone... he totally doesn't "get it".
Thanks for sharing!
Have a great day.
xoxo
Thumbs down to Peter Pan. Thumbs up to Grumpy Cat! :)
ReplyDeleteDid you know the Grumpy cat just surpassed the 100 million dollar mark?
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Girl Meets World!!! It was super fun o have Shawn on there!!!
ReplyDeleteI used to have the biggest crush on Shawn back in the day!
ReplyDeleteLOL I love Natalie's perspective on things, or err...Princess Peach. The sleep Captain hook would've irritated me too. It's too big of a part to snooze on!
