Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To have watched part of Peter Pan Live. Christopher Walken wasn't really energetic enough to play Captain Hook. I know he's in his 70s but dang, if he preferred to nap, why take the part?!

--To love the FitBit my Mom gave me as an early Christmas present. Want to be FitBit friends? Let me know! Laugh at my low steps.

--To have watched Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas. It was...odd. But it's a Lifetime movie. And I love Grumpy Cat. Natalie was amused.

--To be excited to go on a date with Tom Friday night. We're going to a German restaurant.

--To have also watched the Girl Meets World Christmas special. Shawn returned! Girl Meets World is a good show. Some shows geared towards kids make me want to tear my ears off, but this one is entertaining.

--To be glad my Holiday Gift Guide For The Stumped helped some people out!

--To have a busy weekend coming up. Natalie's school has a craft fair on Saturday. Then later that day is the squadron Christmas party for kids. Sunday we're taking the kids to see Santa at the Bass Pro Shop. (It's free!)

--To have tried to make cookies. They ended up like this.

Oops. Natalie was like, "Princess Peach wants to know what you did to these cookies?"

  1. We watched about 15 minutes of Grumpy Cat movie and turned it off. I wanted nothing to do with it but Hubbs thought it was hilarious. He quickly changed his mind!

I had seen the candy cane cookies the other day and was thinking about them. Then I saw that pic on Instragram, giggled and said Nevermind! : )

  2. We are actually getting the Grumpy Cat movie this week at the store and I was wondering if I should watch it...
And yum German food is my favorite...
And I really, really miss Girl Meets World now that I don't have cable, but if that's all that I miss I think I'll be okay.

  4. I liked Christopher Walken's tap dancing and that was about it. Peter Pan was just too long and kind of boring...I had it on the entire time, but lost interest and started doing other things. I'll have to see if I can find Girl Meets World Christmas Special...I'd like to see Shawn as a grown up =)

  11. Peter Pan was horrid. I couldn't do it. Same with Grumpy Cat, although Erica loved it. However, the return of Shawn made me so ridiculously happy I actually started clapping.

  12. Your cooked are why I don't bake - I just don't have the patience for it and always end up with a mess!!!
I didn't even watch any of the Peter Pan Live - last year I had been so excited about Sound of Music Live and then ended up being really disappointed.

  19. Oh no! The cookies!!!

I love Christopher Walken (aka - it needs more cowbell - LOL)... sad to hear he ended up not doing such a great job in his part.

I would love to get a FitBit. My hubby says I can get the same features with an app on my phone... he totally doesn't "get it".

    Thanks for sharing!

    Have a great day.
    xoxo

  24. LOL I love Natalie's perspective on things, or err...Princess Peach. The sleep Captain hook would've irritated me too. It's too big of a part to snooze on!
