I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To be excited to get the photos back from the Beetlejuice photoshoot my kids did. For those who don't know, my son is being Beetlejuice for Halloween and my daughter is Lydia.
--To have seen Crimson Peak. I did jump a few times. And curse. While jumping.
--To be tired of hearing about Lamar Odom. I'm glad he's doing better, but dang. I hope he gets the help he needs. I wish the media would cover what's going on when a soldier is in the hospital.
--To be glad my pumpkin spice review post helped some people. I also discovered many people don't like pumpkin spice stuff. More for me ;)
--To have laughed when I heard porn was heard playing over the intercom at a Target. I have a warped sense of humor, so this amuses me.
--To be buying Jurassic World today. Natalie is excited. She loved when we went to see it. (She's 8 and I think it's fine to take kids to see it. I wrote a post about that here.)
--To be taking the kids to the children's squadron Halloween party. Should be fun. AND I don't have to cook dinner that night. I offered to bring drinks and chips. I rarely bring cooked food to parties so I don't gross anyone else.
--To LOVE this Beetlejuice shirt! Natalie is all, "Some kids aren't allowed to watch Beetlejuice. I feel sorry for them." (Shirt from LittleGypsyFinery, Leggings from The Children's Place.)

I can't WAIT to see the kiddos costumes! Beetlejuice is one of my all time favorite movies ever! :)
ReplyDelete"Daylight come and me wan' go home." Very cool about the Beetlejuice stuff. That movie is a classic. Not ready to show it to my kids yet, but someday.
ReplyDeleteGood to know about Jurassic World that your 8 year-old could handle it. I'm debating on if I want to see it or not. 22 years ago, I loved Jurassic Park and saw it a bunch of times. I never saw the other ones.
I love that they're going as Beetlejuice and Lydia for Halloween. I'll also share all the pumpkin things with you!
ReplyDeleteLove the shirt!
ReplyDeleteBeetlejuice is a must watch especially this time of year!
ReplyDeleteThat outfit is super cute on Natalie. I'm wondering where I could get some mismatched leggings like that!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed about the porn at Target too! There was a video floating around from someone in the store at the time, but I was too afraid to watch it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the kids Halloween pictures! Also, my 9 year old watched Jurassic World and was totally fine. That outfit that Natalie is wearing is so awesome! You know I love Beetlejuice shirts!
ReplyDeleteNatalie's shirt is so cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I never thought to add Beetlejuice to the Halloween movie line up! Did you show their costumes yet? that's a fantastic idea.
ReplyDeleteMy son was 10 he had no problem with Jurassic World. And I am sure my 8 year old daughter would be fine too. Probably not the 6 year old, so she will have to stick with Captain America when we watch it.
Ahh I am so excited about that photo shoot! It sounds so fun!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the photos! I love that you hired someone. I did Halloween photos over the weekend, and I'd love to share those soon.
ReplyDeleteThe Target porn thing was funny.
That's what's warped about society... Lamar Odom gets way more media coverage then the people who actually do real, honorable jobs... Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWe loved Jurassic World. I just found out today that one of our employee's is very good friends with Chris Pratt. I told her - how did I not know this information - and when am I invited over for a BBQ?!?
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute in that outfit. I think you are one of the few people that get me. As soon as money lands in my hands, I go shopping for my daughter, no matter how many clothes she has or how much we need new clothes. The logic is bulletproof... One day she might not like getting dressed in cute, puffy, outfits and the pictures I take will last forever!
ReplyDeletei want that shirt--i still want it after seeing it on your insta!! the kid's got style.
ReplyDeleteI love beetlejuice such a fun movie. Hearing porn at target would have cracked me up. I'm laughing and I didn't even hear it.
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those freaks who doesn'y like pumpkin haha more for you! And Jurassic world was so good! I didn't even realize it was out yet YESSS!!

I want to see Crimson Peak, but I, also, want to be able to sleep after seeing it... Might have to rent it :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, your daughter's outfit is SO CUTE! I haven't seen Beetlejuice in ages. Really need to do something about that :)
ReplyDeleteI'll take pumpkin anything, please.... Yum!
