Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog any day of the week. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.
-----------

--To have not done much for Labor Day weekend. We did go see my parents! But other than that, we relaxed.

--To love that Olive Garden has the Buy One, Take One deal going. We can go there for lunch and then pick up a meal for dinner!

--To have a giveaway for The Swan Princess: Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today DVD here.

--To also have a post up at The Military Wife and Mom with tips on how to help kids at a new school after a PCS. (Move.) You can check it out here.

--To think I have our dates ready for Disney World in March. We're also doing a day at Universal. Tom won't be able to make it because he doesn't think he can get leave. It's tougher to get leave as a MTI.

--To appreciate everyone that took the time to comment and/or share my post called Why The National Anthem Means Something To Military Families. I wrote it in response to a ridiculous tweet John Legend made.

--To have tried out Kneaders Bakery for the first time and decided to sample a lot of their desserts. This isn't even half of them!

  3. Yay for Disney, but I'm sad Tom will miss :( We are going in January and my husband is less than thrilled so I keep threatening to leave him at home :P

To answer your question, Jayce actually likes PE. He just hates getting dressed afterwards. It's first period, so he can actually wear his PE uniform to school and only has to change once. His best friend is in his class so it makes it fun.

  4. Our Labor Day weekend was pretty low key too. Disney World in March is great. Not overly hot, but it does get cold in the morning!

I loved our relaxing weekend - we needed one. I want to go to Disney when you do! We go earlier, though.

  7. Sad you can't all enjoy Disney together. Not sure what Labour day actually is for but any time with family is good.

  13. I'd hoped to get some things done over Labor Day weekend too, but it didn't really happen. Spent lots of time doing stuff with the kids on Saturday (so not wasted time, but still didn't complete anything on my to-do list), Sunday was church and religious observance, and Monday was get ready for back-to-school because we started Tuesday and left it until the last minute!
