Trying Pho For The First Time At 3 Pho Bowl 09

I love noodles. I've eaten a ton of ramen in my life. When I was first married and we had no money, Cup-O-Noodles was a staple in the house. 30 cents for a meal? Yes please! And they came in a variety of flavors, so it took at least a week for us to get bored of them.

Anyway.

I know noodle places have become more popular, so I wanted to try one. We were visiting my mom, so we decided to try a place near her house called 3 Pho Bowl 09 in Schertz, Texas.

Now, because I've never eaten Pho before, I didn't know how to order it or what kind I should order. Beef? Chicken? Veggie? However, it was okay, because this place explains how to do it:

(I love how it's all END OF INSTRUCTION.)

I ended up with the beef. Natalie wanted the honeydew Boba tea, which yes,  tasted like honeydew.

The place is small, but set up in a comfortable way. There are colorful drawings on the wall to give it a homey feel.

The pho is wheeled out to you. Here's what mine looked like:

My daughter got the shrimp:

They also have some greens, if you want to make it healthy, but hot and sweet sauce. I put a ton of hot sauce in mine.

It was delicious. The only flaw I could find is Pepsi products were served, and I prefer Coke. I would go back! The kids and my mom agreed. I think it was everyone's first time trying Pho.

We also tried the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, which were delicious:

If you're ever in the Schertz area, pop into 3 Pho Bowl 09. There is also a military discount! Have you ever tried Pho before?
